Receive money from overseas
If you need to get money from overseas friends or businesses, we can help. With our International Payment Service, powered by Convera, we can offer a range of foreign exchange and international payment services.

Inward Transfers

Have funds from overseas transferred directly into your Great Southern Bank account.

Inward Transfers

An Inward Transfer (also known as an "Inward Wire") is an electronic transfer of funds directly credited to your account from an overseas remitter. The remitter sends the funds in their own currency, and we arrange their conversion into Australian dollars before forwarding for credit to your Great Southern Bank account.
Why receive money via this service?
Better value for you – you're not charged a beneficiary deduct fee, so you'll receive the full amount of your incoming payment.
Better value for senders – in most cases the transaction is treated as a local transaction and no fee is charged to process your payment, providing a cheaper alternative to the SWIFT service.
Reliable – payments are handled by foreign exchange specialists with reliable systems ready to receive your payment.
Fast – you can usually expect funds in your account within two business days.*
