When you apply for business finance, you’ll need to provide:
- Your ID (driver licence, passport or Medicare card).
- A recent tax return (within the last 18 months).
- Details of your business’s liabilities, such as other business loans, business credit cards or leases.
We might ask you for other documents to help us understand your business’s financial position.
We’ll keep you up-to-date with in-app notifications and by email. More information or documents may be requested and can be up uploaded in the app. This may include:
- Household finances and debts
- Personal finances and debts
- A recent tax return (within the last 18 months)
- Notice of assessment from ATO
- Two most recent Business Activity Statements
- ATO debt statement
You may be eligible for conditional approval and will have 14 days to respond:
- Complete a final identity confirmation
- Invite other business owners and directors (if applicable)
- Provide any requested documents
If your business is a company, all directors must provide a guarantee. Guarantors will need to:
- Add ID details (Australian driver licence, passport or Medicare card) and verify their identity.
- Confirm they meet eligibility criteria.
- Confirm they’re happy to give their guarantees.

Your Business+ Unsecured Overdraft is linked to your Business+ Account.
You access your overdraft funds the same way you access your own eg. With your Debit Mastercard, in-app transfers, direct debits, BPAY®, etc.
If you overdraw your Business+ Account, don’t worry, your Business+ Unsecured Overdraft covers you (up to your approved limit) until you get your balance back in the black. You only pay interest on what you have used.
