At Great Southern Bank, transparency is paramount. As one of Australia’s largest customer-owned banks, we believe it is important that we clearly demonstrate the steps we are taking on climate-related matters. To that end, we follow the recommendations made by the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). We first used the TCFD framework and its guidelines in 2022, helping to gather valuable information to assist in our approach to climate change management and in the development and implementation of a plan to act on identified focus areas.
