We will try to identify you electronically by searching available online records including those of credit reporting bodies. Doing this won’t leave a mark on your credit file. By continuing, you consent to:
- Personal information you’ve provided being checked against records of government agencies or other entities;
- Great Southern Bank disclosing your name, residential address and date of birth to one or more credit reporting bodies and requesting credit reporting body(s) to provide an assessment of whether the personal information you provided to us matches (in whole or in part) personal information contained in their records;
- Credit reporting body(s) preparing and providing us with an Assessment. The credit reporting body may use your personal information, and personal information it holds, including the names, residential addresses and dates of birth of other individuals, for the purposes of preparing the Assessment;
- Great Southern Bank advising you if we are unable to verify your identity based on the Assessment by a credit reporting body.
We will only use the Assessment we receive from a credit reporting body for the purpose of verifying your identity as required by the Anti- Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006. If you don’t consent to having your identity verified electronically, we will need to verify your ID manually another way.
