What is a Mobile Banker?

A Mobile Banker is an experienced home loan lender who can travel to see you via booking an appointment.

What can Mobile Bankers do?

Mobile Bankers can explain the whole home loan process and help you navigate from borrowing capacity to pre-approval to approval once a property is found. And then from application to post settlement. They can also assist in refinancing, restructuring, switching products and top ups of loans. Mobile Bankers are knowledgeable in home loans, general insurance and credit cards. For all other products, such as personal loans, transaction accounts and Term Deposits they will refer you to a branch.

How do I interact with a Mobile Banker?

You can meet face-to-face at a location convenient to you. You can also connect via WebEx video call, phone and email.

How do I find a Mobile Banker and what hours do they work?

Our local branches can refer you to a Mobile Banker. And full details of each Mobile Banker are also on our website. Mobile Bankers have no set hours – they can assist you seven days a week at a time to suit you (within reason of course) via booking an appointment.

Will I have the same person come each time and will I be able to build that relationship long term?

The same Mobile Banker will see the initial journey through and keep in touch post settlement at certain points i.e., after 6-12 months to ensure everything is still working for you. If you have questions, of course you can reach out and if you want to change/ increase borrowing or buy another property, you can go directly back to the Mobile Banker for help.

Are the Mobile Bankers in areas that don’t have branches?

Yes, they cover areas that do not have a branch. They will travel a reasonable distance to see you. They also offer WebEx video calls for more personal interactions. The postcodes of the areas our Mobile Bankers service are listed on our website.
